
Our New project aims to reach engage and support women from Asian and other BME communities living in Southall, Hounslow, Hayes and adjoining areas who
- experience or suffer from isolation anxiety stress, depression, are victims of DV and social cultural and stigmas which perpetuate gender inequalities and undermine women’s mental health and wellbeing
- want to have their voices and needs heard within/amongst male dominated community leadership and community organisations and local and national service providers though:
Women’s Voices Project will be
- Setting up a 24-hour free and confidential Women’s Helpline run by volunteers to help women experiencing or suffering isolation anxiety stress, depression, Domestic abuse or violence and other issues.
The helpline will offer a listening ear, advice and support, signposting to statutory/voluntary sector support services etc
- recruiting and skilling new volunteers
